Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Mutrie Media (the "Site", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit our website, contact us, or engage our Google Search Ads management services.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any revisions.

How we collect and use your personal information

To provide our Services, we collect personal information about you from a variety of sources, as set out below.

Information you provide to us directly

  • Contact details — your name, email address, phone number, business name, and role when you submit our contact form, request a free Google Ads audit, or otherwise communicate with us.
  • Engagement information — your monthly ad spend range, current Google Ads account details, business goals, and any other information you choose to share so we can scope our Services.
  • Account access you grant us — if you become a client, you may provide read or management access to your Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or related accounts so we can audit, build, and optimize your campaigns.
  • Customer support information — the contents of communications you exchange with us by email, phone, or other channels.

Information we collect automatically

When you visit our website we may automatically collect certain information about your device and your interaction with the Site ("Usage Data") through cookies, pixels, server logs, and similar technologies. This may include your IP address, browser type, referring page, pages viewed, time spent, and approximate location derived from your IP. Some of our landing pages also load Google Tag Manager, which may set cookies on behalf of analytics or advertising tools we configure.

Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from third-party services we use, such as our email delivery provider (Resend), our hosting provider (Cloudflare), and Google's advertising and analytics platforms when you interact with campaigns we manage.

How we use your personal information

  • Providing our Services — to respond to your inquiry, deliver requested audits, manage your Google Ads campaigns, and otherwise perform our agreement with you.
  • Communicating with you — to provide updates, reports, support, and answers to questions you've asked.
  • Marketing — to send you occasional updates about our Services, case studies, or relevant industry information. You can opt out at any time by replying to any email or contacting us at hello@mutriemedia.com.
  • Security and fraud prevention — to detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity directed at our Site or Services.
  • Analytics and improvement — to understand how visitors use our website so we can make it work better.
  • Compliance — to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our terms.

Cookies

Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies. Cookies help our Site function, remember your preferences, and measure how the Site is used. Some pages — particularly paid-traffic landing pages — load Google Tag Manager, which may set cookies on behalf of measurement and advertising vendors we configure (for example, Google Ads conversion tracking and Google Analytics).

Most browsers accept cookies by default, but you can usually change your browser settings to remove or reject them. If you do, some parts of the Site may not work as intended.

How we disclose personal information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with the following categories of recipients in connection with the purposes described above:

  • Vendors and service providers who help us run our business — for example, our website hosting and database provider (Cloudflare), our email delivery provider (Resend), and Google's advertising and analytics platforms.
  • Professional advisors such as accountants and lawyers, where appropriate.
  • Authorities and others when we believe disclosure is required or permitted by law, to protect our rights or those of third parties, or in connection with the sale, financing, or reorganization of our business.

Third-party websites and links

Our Site may include links to websites or platforms operated by third parties. If you follow such a link, we encourage you to review the third party's privacy and security policies before sharing any personal information with them. We are not responsible for the practices of websites we don't operate.

Children's data

Our Services are intended for businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Security and retention of your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no security system is perfect, and we can't guarantee that information will always be secure.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements — and only for as long as it has a legitimate business purpose.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

  • Right to access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to correct — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Right to delete — ask us to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to portability — receive a portable copy of certain personal information.
  • Right to restrict or object — ask us to limit or stop certain processing of your information.
  • Right to withdraw consent — where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
  • Right to opt out of marketing — unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message, or by contacting us.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@mutriemedia.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

Complaints

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the privacy regulator in your jurisdiction — in Canada, that's the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
